“We’re Serene Green – a team of two students from Duke University who create easy-to-use software for the web“.
Ok who are Serene Green and why could you fit their entire website on the back of a business card?
Serene Green are quite possibly the most minimalistic designers I have come across. But with the shockingly simple site they have, it is a classy piece of work. Their chosen fonts are quite incredible and fit the site perfectly.

“ChurchBlox offers beautifully designed church websites that supply all of the functionality that you’ll need to bring your church body online“.
Churchblox are a niche company that specialize in affordable web design for the Church Body sector. The site sort of reminds me of Dan Cederholm’s Simple Bits. A nice simple no fluff site with a killer color palette. The logo is pretty juicy too.

“Oaktree Creative is a design consultancy advocating well-designed, smartly-coded and easy-to-use websites that support web standards“.
Every part of Oaktree Creative’s website is so well balanced and an absolute dream to view and drool over.
Checkout their header for some pixelated goodness. The plant in front of some pretty impressive blended blocks are awe inspiring to say the least.
Their navigation bar is so well styled and delicately makes an impact with a minimalistic approach through the use of really soft gradients and a great mouse over.
All in all, one of my new favorite finds that I’m sure I will come back to for some new ideas.
Utterly great job Oaktree Creative.

Designed by Pavel Richter.
“Visual communication, front-end solutions, corporate identity and flash development.”
Pavel Richter’s dark design has a very evil look about it. I think the red logo and the soft hues of the gray headings are so menacing looking and really scary. The rounded corners and white space for the content are well designed and I love the fact that Pavel adds some rectangle images as the headings within the rounded white space.

Stuff and Nonsense is the creative design agency led by web design guru, Andy Clarke. The site’s main attraction is the illustration by Kevin Cornell who also does the illustrations for alistapart. The site boasts some very nice typography and the separation of the content is well presented. They use the textual content to form the layout structure and do a splendid job.

An elegant and simple interface cooked by Intuitive Designs. The image of the chef whipping up some cream may confuse some visitors as they first enter the site, but their tagline answers any questions as to the nature of the site.
