<p>Rails Day 2006 is designed by <a href="http://www.fusionary.com/" title="http://www.fusionary.com/">Fusionary</a>.</p>
<p>The Rails Day designers approachÃ‚Â  in the design is big and bold. They have such a beautiful color scheme that is perfectly executed by the use of a dark black background coupled with the beige sidebar and topped off with some white for the content area.</p>
<p>The social media icons are well placed and they should definitely increase the site&#8217;s social bookmarks.</p>
<p>One last thing I would like to mention is the logo. You really have to hand it to Rails Day, and <a href="http://www.fusionary.com/" title="http://www.fusionary.com/">fusionary</a> for such a wicked logo. I love the choice of font used and the clever way of including the rails dots on the scroll banner.</p>

<p>I absolutely love the branding on the future of web design site. A simple two column setup with colors that are so strong and that really work in harmony with each other. The main audience of the site would be a 20 &#8211; 40 year demographic I think and the design should certainly stand out to them. I also wouldn&#8217;t have thought you could get away with Brown and pink, but I was wrong <img src='http://www.thedesignedtree.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>The most unique thing about this site is the main header with a speaker from the event on the front which also looks great.</p>
