Tedler

Tedler

Tedler is the creative brain from Ted Lermontov, a web designer living in Australia.

Tedler has a grungy and dare I say it, slightly eccentric style. I like the way Ted uses his colors with some nice dark greys that make up the meat of the design and then he places some very nice electric green in key areas that don’t feel overbearing. The picture of the brain with some of his statistics is a unique touch that I haven’t come across anywhere before.

Oh and Ted is looking for “a full time creative senior web designer position not far from Sydney beaches“. so checkout his work.

Carl Rafting

Carl Rafting

This is the personal and business site of Carl Rafting, A web and graphic designer from Sweden I think. The site has a smooth and effective design that I think works quite well. The right navigation menu is quite polished and the vibrant red color really makes it pop. Carl Rafting, nice job.

Kaimueller

kaimueller

Kaimueller just had to be added because of it’s clean and tidy style. This is the personal site of web designer, Kai Mueller. It still amazes me how simple designs like Kai’s can win over bloated and heavy ones. These types of clean sites are definitely in at the moment and I’m proud to have Kai Mueller added to the tree.

Nikki Brion / Bottled Sky

Nikki Brion

This section of bottled sky is Nikki Brion’s portfolio work. The layout has a very unique style. It consists of a three column design but not the average run of the mill design consisting of one big content column and two small columns for navigation and secondary sections. All the columns are of equal width and the center content column looks amazing with all the illustration around. And be sure to checkout Nikki’s work here. Some real talent from Nikki Brion, well done.

Veerle duoh

http://veerle.duoh.com/

I have been meaning to add Veerle’s award winning blog for some time now, but only felt the need to add her blog for inclusion now. The reason being is I was trying to think of new ways to describe what a masterpiece she has built but ended up rehashing what everybody else said, regarding the illustrations, color scheme, excellent attention to detail etc etc. So I don’t think words are appropriate to showcase Veerle’s Blog, just check it out.

Dan Webb

http://www.danwebb.net/

Dan Webb was designed by Joe Mckernan.

Dan Webb’s red header fades effortlessly into the content below. It is bold, rich and has a slightly comic book style to it. The other thing that caught me was the double footer. I am a huge fan of these modern footers, but Dan’s is so well designed it has to win some kind of “best footer” award :) . Dan Webb, I congratulate you.
