A neat concept from gifttagging.com that allows you to find gift ideas for friends and family and also create gift lists. The main image of the 3D gift wrapped presents look so funky and hip.
The square edges that are surrounding the content are a breath of fresh air in this rounded corner “Web 2.0″ day in age.
Another nice touch is the tag cloud (or should I say “gift tag cloud” 
) that they have in the center to give users the ability to start searching for gift ideas the moment you enter the site.

“JQuery is a fast, concise, JavaScript Library that simplifies how you traverse HTML documents, handle events, perform animations, and add Ajax interactions to your web pages”.
JQuery’s website does very well to showcase their excellent JavaScript library. The use of soft gradients and strong logo design speaks volumes about the modern approach to web design. And check out the neat little way you can try a quick JQuery action out on the home page, Impressive.

A German site with alot of fun colours and amazing graphics. Not sure exactly what these guys do (blog publishing I think), but their site is pretty to look at . What seems to have the most content on this site is the footer. Nice seperation from the links to the actuall content on screen.

Sleek and modern site with a host of great javascript features. I think the contrast of the background to the content areas are also superb. Expression Engine’s website was built with Javascript and CSS for easier navigation and I think it really improves the experience for the user.

A cleverly designed “Web 2.0″ interface for their Image Gallery script. The marketing is brilliant on this site, from the colour scheme, textual content to the logo. Everything works in sync and looks amazing.
